WEATHINGTON Partner, David Hanson, on the State of Apportionment Law in Georgia

On Monday, November 1, 2021, WEATHINGTON Partner David Hanson was a guest lecturer for numerous stakeholders at Wellstar Health System. He provided a legal update on the current state of apportionment law in Georgia.

David’s presentation addressed the fallout from the Georgia Supreme Court’s recent decision in Alston & Bird, LLP v. Hatcher Management Holdings, LLC limiting non-party apportionment to multi-defendant cases. David also provided an overview of emerging strategies employed by the Plaintiff’s bar and various tactics available to Defendants in response.
