Emily Baker

Professional Profile

Emily focuses on medical malpractice defense.

She earned her J.D., cum laude, from Georgia State University College of Law and obtained a certificate in Sports and Entertainment Law upon graduation. During her legal studies, Emily worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the College of Law IT Help Desk. She also trained in general civil mediation during her third year of school and worked in both Fulton and Dekalb County, mediating residential disputes as a certified neutral. In addition, Emily was a summer associate for two summers at Weathington and worked as a law clerk at Weathington throughout the entirety of her legal studies.

Prior to law school, Emily graduated magna cum laude from Georgia Southern University with a B.S. in both Criminal Justice and Psychology. She also participated in the Disney College Program as an intern in the Orlando parks. Outside of work, Emily enjoys spending time with her friends and family, seeing as many movies in theaters as possible, and cheering on the Atlanta Braves.
