Professional Profile
Liza is dedicated to providing effective legal defense for physicians, hospitals, and health care providers in medical malpractice cases. She is experienced in researching complex legal issues, drafting briefs and motions, and ensuring the needs of clients are met. She also defends clients in product and premises liability claims.
Liza obtained her J.D., cum laude, at the University of Mississippi School of Law, where she was a member of the Law Journal and the Trial Advocacy Board. Prior to law school, Liza graduated from the Sally McDonnell Barksdale Honors College at the University of Mississippi with a B.A., cum laude, in public policy leadership and philosophy.
Liza enjoys spending time with her husband and their dog, Rex.

- Managed and prepared more than 50 cases through all phases of litigation, many of which resulted in favorable outcomes for the defense through dispositive motions, negotiated settlements, or jury verdicts
- Regularly provides deposition training to nurses and other personnel at hospitals and healthcare groups
