Dan McGrew and Sam Britt participated as judges at the Regional National Trial Competition hosted by the University of Georgia School of Law in Athens, Georgia on February 9-12. The regional mock trial tournament includes teams from several highly-ranked law schools, including UGA, Emory, Duke, North Carolina, and Wake Forest, among others. The tournament provides law students with the opportunity to strengthen their advocacy skills through quality competition and valuable interactions with members of the bench and bar.

Weathington McGrew sponsored a fund raiser for Dr. Kay Kirkpatrick, a hand surgeon and former President of Resurgens Orthopaedics, who is running for State Senate District 32. Weathington McGrew is sponsoring the Touchdown Club of Atlanta’s first ever “Mr. Georgia Football” award. The award, which will be officially known as the “Touchdown Club of Atlanta – Weathington McGrew Mr. Georgia Football Award”, will be given annually to the top high school senior football player in the State of Georgia. Senior Partner Paul Weathington is a member of the Board of Directors of the Touchdown Club of Atlanta, which is one of the oldest Touchdown Clubs in the nation supporting and honoring high school and college football.
