Founding Partner Paul Weathington represented a neurologist who was consulted after a patient arrived at the hospital with stroke symptoms following a chiropractic adjustment. The patient ultimately suffered locked-in syndrome, and Weathington’s client was accused of failing to diagnose and treat the stroke in time.
The defense centered on one key issue: whether the neurologist had been informed of critical details that would have prompted immediate intervention. By narrowing the focus and establishing credibility from the outset, Paul successfully cleared our client of liability.
