WARNER ROBINS, GA — WEATHINGTON Attorneys Paul E. Weathington and David C. Hanson (assisted by Rebecca Dowd, RN, LNC) obtained a defense verdict after an almost two-week trial that concluded earlier this week. Weathington attorneys defended an Emergency Medicine physician and the ER contracting group against the allegation of a failure to diagnose a pacemaker infection leading to a lengthy hospitalization with extensive medical bills and future medical expenses. The Plaintiff asked for a verdict in the mid-$20 million range; however, the Warner Robins jury returned a defense verdict for all defendants after just 20 minutes of deliberation. The co-defendant was represented by the capable attorneys, John Hall and Beth Kanik from Hall Booth Smith, PC in Atlanta.
WEATHINGTON continues its strong trial track record and strives to deliver the best legal defense team to physicians, hospitals and healthcare providers.
