WEATHINGTON attorneys obtained a defense verdict today in DeKalb County with the jury out for a day and a half in deliberations. Paul Weathington served as lead counsel with Seleta Griffen as his second chair. Legal nurse consultant Debbie Sullivan assisted with the case as did summer associate Paul Hotchkiss. The case involved a stillbirth ( 38 weeks) and birth injuries to the mother sustained when the mother suffered from a placenta previa accreta. She had a stillbirth prior to the C- section delivery during which she also experienced significant bleeding. The plaintiffs sought a verdict in excess of $10 million
